Duggin is a follower of the traditionalist movement, which was heavily influenced by Rene Guenon, who later became Muslim. You should check out their philosophy if you don't know them already. They heavily critique modernity and promote a return to religious values in the West.

I am super depressed at the moment but I'm 34, I was born and raised where I live; south east England. Every year's the same. Its sucks, but I know ì'll be back to normal by march. I'd love to live somewhere where its summer everyday, even though it will bring its own problems but I think I've earned it, living in this wet, cold, shitty country

I had to get out of England myself I was in Bournemouth up until June and almost felt as though I had nothing to live for/ look forward too. Now I’m in Melbourne Australia and whilst things are far from perfect I feel as though I’m alive again and there’s a potential for life to come good if I keep doing the right shit. Hard training isn’t an option it’s a must if you want to have a clear mind. I feel depressed at some point during most days, after heavy exertion doing bjj or anything else for that matter I feel the ‘ sad voice’ go away and I can see things clearly without the voice of doom dominating my mind and making life seem so torturous. You have total jurisdiction over the next stage of your life, no one else is to blame. Come up with a plan and DO WHAT YOU WANT If you hate England get out, 34 is young you will never be this age again. Don’t waste your time or forsake your life because of previous bad experiences . DO WHAT YOU WANT.

Leave England. It has a miserable nature. People complain constantly. We moved to Australia 10 years ago. Amazing how different thd vibe is here.

16:00 very interesting to hear your thoughts on the D'arce or Anaconda. As someone with very long and lanky arms, I always end up locking up the shallow grip (on forearm) cause if I'm bicep deep I can't get it. Look forward to trying the Tricep grip.

Would love a philosophy podcast in the future, cheers Firas. Respective to the football (soccer) thing is that the social pressure causes violence and separation, it's a common psychological phenom.

I think I could have clarified my super chat better but character limits and all. I just used Muslim as an example being a Muslim myself. I have noticed a trend on youtube and facebook where almost without exception the people interested in or uploading content about the “alternative health” niches whether it is keto, raw meat, raw living, carnivore, raw milk, no fluoride water, etc etc are maybe 99% of a white background. Muslims are a sizeable portion of the world population and really do not seem interested in these things at all. I was wondering if you had any philosophical insights related to culture that might be able to explain why that is the case.

Exceptions don’t disprove the rule, it widely underperforms because it supposes market forces without the computational power to do so. It can never compete with capitalism until a computer can predict market forces with 99% accuracy.

The only issue I see we should respect their culture is this - let’s take North Korea as an example , if I go to North Korea I will still bow to Kim’s statue out of fear but will you still say that Kim has instilled great culture into NK people ? Fear might be part of their culture. Will you say All Iranian women protesting are doing it for their rights or are they going against their culture . Name a culture that has remained same for 1000’s of years without evolution ? There is none cause the culture won’t survive if they don’t evolve .
