He is one of Asha's most loyal followers even after she loses the Kingsmoot to Euron Greyjoy feeling to the north. Even after she is captured by the sources of Stannis Baratheon, Tristifer remains loyal to his chosen queen and looks to have a key role in the ironborn plot should the winds of winter ever come out.
