Worth noting that the master also comes in its own carry case. Something I didn't know until today when it arrived. Unfortunately however I am missing the metric collar depth stop scale insert.

Any ideas on where to get a spare drill bit for this?

Looks like a great product. Doesn't appear to be available at any of the main US online retailers yet.

Saw some flex in the board when drilling, and the bit was not straight down the scale when putting the collet on. Some worry there.

Great design but... why choose Triton for plastic housing instead of cast aluminium or cast iron?🤔

Blimey gents . This video is on tritons own channel and nowhere to my knowledge do they say it’s a review. As you say it’s a promotional video so take it as that. Would you advertise your businesses by being heavy handed with your products? There’s no doubting Kreg is the market leader at pocket hole jigs but this looks like a good product from a PROMOTIONAL video. I like the Ali extension wings and the stops and the way it holds the drill is clever. I couldn’t 100% tell but was there only 2 drill guides rather than 3 ? This would be a real bad point if so in my opinion. I look forward to seeing independent REVIEWS of this product

Looks interesting. Not sure if it’s up to k5 standards. Time will tell.

All this hoopla on these new variations of pocket hole jigs, has no one heard of the porter cable version? You never had to adjust the drill bit collar and the jig is self setting for whatever your material thickness is. All these "new" versions are only more complicated...

I found a KZbin video from 2010 that demonstrated the Porter Cable Quik Jig, which has since been discontinued. That jig looked like it was very expensive compared to the pocket hole jigs available today. Amazon still has it listed, but marked "currently unavailable".

I don’t doubt this is probably a goodish product but this paid promotion style video doesn’t fill me with confidence. It’s not gonna be honest about the downfalls. This style of ad is so outdated! Send one to AvE unless you’re scared to for some reason 🤔😅

I agree with this bigtime - nothing about this video comes across as geniune, which reflects badly on both Triton (who I have bought many tools from) and The Brothers Make (who I subscribe to). You've gotta move with the times Triton, give the T6 back to the Brothers Make, and let them go off and make their own video where they test it to destruction and it gets published without any Triton influence; you'll sell far more of them because people will see that the capabilities have been honestly put out there by the manufacturer. People aren't expecting something indestructible or perfect at a given price point but they'll pay willingly when they can see the limits of a tool up front.

This is obviously not a review. Of course you're not going to get an honest review of the tools on the product makers youtube channel. I suggest waiting till it makes it to an actual user on here and watch that review. This video isn't even in a "review" type of presentation. It's more of a "unboxing". Take it for what it is.

@@Renocide I don't recall seeing a video of an actual (not Triton-sponsored) woodworker using this jig, whereas if you search for Kreg, you'll find many videos of people using that product. I've had my Triton double pocket hole jig for about two years, and by now I would have expected to see many more videos using it by independent woodworkers.
