Just out of interest how would you describe the difference in sound, with the v&h because the video doesn't really convey it? They dont sound too loud which is good, is it deeper tone? Cheers jboy

The most surprising is how good the stock pipes sound and the difference in loudness vas not as much as i thought on idle. But the V&H gives it a deeper fuller sound, and when you twist the trottle they give a loud roar that really turn heads, and put a smile on my face :) Allso when engine breaking it has a great rumble! I dont think V&H went for the loudest pipes, but the "correct sound" and i think they nailed it.

Hi when you fitted these slip-ons did they feel lighter than the standard mufflers?

Thanks :) You really have something to look forward to! It is really a nice bike and a smooth ride! i just love it. Well worth the wait. Had it for 1 week now and already driven 2800 km on it. This is the US version slip ons with removable db killers.

Thanks for the reply :) I assume yours is without the db killer? do you plan to do a ride by clip? i would love to hear that loud roar that you mention below, plus watching and listening to yours is all i've got until sep't, i will be watching your clips a lot :)

Is it necessary to remap the engine? Does it explode as you go down the marches?

Hello. According to the dealer there is no need to remap if you only change the slip-ons.

what's the difference between this exhaust and stock? sounds exactly the same to me.

The noise level is not that different, but i think they have a deeper fuller sound and they are definitely louder under acceleration. But i must admit i was surprised when i heard them that they wherent louder.

it's the catalytic converter, decat pipe sounds waaaay better.

cymeria86 how did you do that? Do you have a video to hear the difference? I have the exact same config a bit disappointed by the current sound.
