Just one question, Eddie: How do you know that the cleaning addressed the problem with the pistons? In my case, the cleaning ,new pads, and flush did not solve the problem. The piston seals had to be replaced. Only then did the calipers work 100%. Looking back, I should have pumped the brakes before installing the pads to see that all the pistons moved evenly. Holy smokes Ron ! You read my mind my friend. The honest answer I don’t know if will fix the pistons pumping unevenly so I am planning to remove pads next spring and measure them.

You also said something I just realized next day ….. I should’ve pumped the pistons all the way out after the first cleaning to allow me to clean area that was previously hidden. I was so focus on shooting the video that didn’t cross my mind at that moment.

Yep, piston side usually shows more wear when the pins are not properly lubricated.

I am still wondering if the piston seals aren’t buggered but ….. I will ride this season as is and I will check the pads next spring and go from there.
