Yes sir! I haven't been on any other 600's for comparison, but I have ridden my stepdads 15 S1000RR extensively, and I will say the triumph is noticeably more comfortable. I feel like this bike could easily spoil a rider, it's soo good. Only time will tell.

I'd always been a Japanese sports bike fan mainly Kawasaki and Honda had a Cbr 600rr and a couple of Zx6r's and loved all 3 it took a lot for me to actually make the jump to a Triumph tbh id read lots of reviews and again tbh finding a bad review on a Daytona 675/675R is like hens teeth you just don't find them so I searched the net and found my minta 2013 Daytona 675R with only 1400 miles and all the extras including OEM Triumph seat cowl and OEM Triumph LED indicators to boot so took the plunge and boy were the reviews right the best middleweight super sports bike period and tbf it will embarrass some bigger sports bikes too if you are a decent rider I would 💯 say to anyone thinking about getting one do it you won't regret it oh I'm rocking the Pirelli supercorsa and 😍them take a look 👀 at mine see what you think bro 👍🏻

Dubble D few questions. What bar end mirror are you using and is it any good? Noticed you have it on the left, doesn't that just give you a view of the pavement? Always liked having both mirrors but it looks so slick with them off. If it's not much of a compromise I'll give it a go.

Hey mate, I'm about to buy a new bike and i've narrowed it down to a new 2017 street triple 675R or a slightly used 2015 daytona 675. The Daytona is $3k cheaper and in my opinion looks WAY better, love the look and get really excited every time I see it. However, the street is new with a warranty and would be better for commuting.. really ugly bug eyes though. Commute is only 20-30 min each way, so probably wouldn't get too uncomfortable.. Reckon Daytona is the way to go? Cheers. :)
@DaytonaDays6 жыл бұрын
TheZallene tough one really mate, I’d done 25,000 miles on my Daytona, commuted on it and everything. My only REAL advice is get the one you’ll look back at every time you park it ;)

Looking into buying a used Daytona 675 2012. The one I'm interested in currently has 28k miles. Maintenance are up to date. I know that's quite a bit, but for $3,500 would you consider?

Brian Han probably not a 2012 model personally, just heard so many people have reliability issues with them. However that’s only what I’ve heard, buying anything secondhand is a risk I guess 🤷🏻♂️

Stuck between a 675r and a 899 panigale, getting mixed opinions and cant decide which is a better choice. I previously had my eye on the daytona but people have said the ducati 899 is less extreme riding position and more comfortable for street use, I love the daytonas sound especially the wailing scream when you rev it up, but also the low V8 muscle sound of the ducati 899 has been growing on me... I certainly love the ducati looks much more than the daytona, and it feels a bit more comfortable I think. Engine sound is important to me and I'm not sure if I like the factory exhaust having the clicky clack strange exhaust sounds. Can anyone comment on what would be a better purchase?
@cristinutoo Жыл бұрын
the 899 sounds kinda crap, and the Triumph is more reliable
@dakoolguy111 Жыл бұрын
@Cristian Tabara after owning 3 ducatis (2 twins and a v4) I can say the ducatis sound absolutely fantastic with not stock exhaust. Triumph has proven to be unreliable even with my father's brand new triumph, and ducatis have been great. Also much faster and sexier
@cristinutoo Жыл бұрын
@@dakoolguy111 I forgot to mention that it is my opinion about the sound, you can ride whatever you like, I personally think that the Triumph inline 3 sounds better than a Ducati V4.

Love the Daytona 675, dude. Great bike, I love its mid and low end power! I heard theyre beasts without having to change the sprockets, as is the case with most 600s. Looking to trade my 08 R6 for one real soon. Great vids, Dubble D! Did you do the gas tank navy blue pinstripe accenting yourself, or is that OEM? It looks so good

It looks so good, very tasteful. I looked everywhere for those 675 plastics in case the pinstriping was OEM, but i never found any, good job! Yeah, the R6 is too singular, top end only. I need something with more mid and low end, so its between the 675 and the 636. Probably 675, as Ive never ridden a 3 cylinder before. I gotta get my hands on a 2013+ model!!
