I WAS THERE! 83 US Fest is still one of my greatest (almost) memories of all time. Metal day: Quiet Riot, Motley Crue, Triumph, Ozzy, Scorpions, Judas Priest, and Van Halen. By the time it was over, the whole valley was bathed in a marijuana haze as thick as fog. Still not sure how I got back to San Diego.

Same here, was stationed at Fort Carson, we road tripped over and ended up breaking down half way back were so pumped from the concert we didn't care we were all AWOL for 36 hours, we went in front of the CO and saw he still had his wrist band on ( obviously we didn't go with him lol)he laughed and told us to police the parking lot and get some sleep.

He has the best voice and great great guitar player.. He's classically trained. I love his voice and his guitar work.. It's outstanding. He has such range and such guitar licks. I play guitar and have for over 45 years and I remember how these guys were sooo good for a 3 piece band.. You seemed to like the Fight the good fight song better I think. I wonder if it 's your mood when it was this song, versus the fight the good fight.. Great song.. Great review sweetie.. You're such a beautiful woman.. You have the most beautiful eyes and lips honey.. Great reviews.. Really! Thank you for sharing.. Hope you're well! From the heartland. South Central Indiana. USA Tim

When you are another 3 piece from Canada, and you keep hearing "Rush imitator, Rush Clone, Rush, Rush, Rush" I can see trying a little harder every chance I get. "Magic Power" is a gift, it's helped me through rough times. You should give it a listen, a studio version would be fine I think.

Yep, thats the thing about live performances… they can rip, no doubt, but yeah, I generally prefer studio performances, because they’re more consistent, and they don’t get too carried away. There are certainly exceptions … The Ramones are much better live than on their studio albums! The extended solo instrumental section, was cool, but they skipped over the breakdown, which wouldve made it much better, and I bet she wouldve liked it better!

Rebeka: You do reviews great. What is better than a hot young girl listening to music, some of which she might not have heard before. Like this song. We get to see her whole honest reaction, with NO interruptions and or input every 8 seconds like a lot of reviewers do on this channe. Rebeka rocks the video. And then she gives us a 2 or 3 minute feedback session. EXACTLY how an honest review should be done. I hope all the reviewers out there follow the lead of Rebeka.

Rik Emmett and that band is one of the greatest of that era. I saw them with yngwie malmsteen warm up. Triumph’s sound was incredible. Those three are the upper crust for talent. No tricks, auto tune, just some basic delay, maybe some reverb etc. He is still doing it today. Check out his acoustic set. Incredible talent.

I agree. They're a great first marquee band, and deserve every bit of the success they have achieved, but after a while all I start hearing is slightly differently pitched whistles drowning down a lot of the other instruments. His voice is a great instrument and should be used with emphasis after wowing us in other ways here and there. As it is, we keep getting further wowed by how long a male voice can sustain the high range and slightly higher still every so often, nearly constantly. It does start to grate on one's ears and enjoyment after a while, even within a single song. Great reaction!
