Fellow CC'er! Did you see this same show on Valentine's Day 1985 at the Coliseum? Best show I've ever seen.

I'm 27 and the stages album version of this is what inspired me to start playing guitar at 13. My step dad played it for me and it blew my mind I've been a fan ever since and I'm still playing.

I remember watching them in concert on MTV before this tour. Loved them. Still do. Maybe it was this tour.👍🤔

JUST IMAGINE WHAT THIS SOUNDED LIKE IN THAT HOCKEY RINK!... I have my ticket from this show. The show was powerful and well played, and the energy in the room just lit Rik up... we would go to as many rock/metal shows up there from that era...by far RIK EMMETTs solo's were the best constructed and versatile...he truly is the one no one wast to admit is the real guitar hero of all time.,,and he can still play!

If you went to see Triumph back in the day, one thing is for sure...they gave you the best show they could and they made sure you got your moneys worth. I am grateful to mbet359 for posting these videos from the Thunder 7 tour 1985. Reply · 1
