Triumph has given the legendary 2,500cc halo of the range a makeover, with the limited edition Rocket 3 R Black and Rocket 3 GT Triple Black for 2021.
The bikes will be strictly limited to just 1,000 examples globally, with each version arriving with a certificate of authenticity, linking the bike's VIN to the special edition bloodline.

My local dealer had one of the GT's. I went down there to at least look at it but it had sold before I got there, just broke my heart that I didn't even get to sit on it and have the guy try to sell me it. I've been looking at the Rocket 3 motorcycles for over a year now. I saw the announcement of the Black editions and I fell in love all over again. Unfortunately it's not meant to be right now. Had to move and it wiped out my savings. Maybe next year. Make a blacked out one with a dark blue paint and I'll try to get it.

It would cost 2k just to have a paint shop paint my Red 2020 so I just traded it in for this limited Black edition! As long as Triumph doesn't bring out this paint scheme in another year I'll be happy lol.

Roughly translated they are not selling very many of them, so we will make a limited edition or just paint it black and charge a grand more. How about just take a grand off the standard bike and they might sell more.

Don't know where you got that information from, but over here in Germany, the R & GT are selling like hot cakes. Homework my friend, homework. Better to check before you make sucha broad-brush statement...

they dont have heated grips on the R, only as an option does anyone know if the wiring is already in place in the R for an easy upgrade? or does the entire setup néed to be done thanks
