Glad to hear how much you enjoyed it mate. I bought the GT just coming up a year ago and the torque never gets old. Made me laugh at the end, just to let you know I back my bikes into a shed up a steep ram, I've always pumped the bike backwards to get in. Note to self ... make sure you turn the Rocket off first, otherwise the first pull on the front brake to compress the forks puts the "Hill assist" on and applies the back brake, I was heaving and swearing until I saw the Green light.... lesson learnt lol

Getting the front wheel drop in a rut like that at the end: I used to have it regularly with my old ST1100, - its that fine balance with the front brake keeping the pressure on the forks just long enough to help when you release and drag the bars back at the same time. Should be a name for it like ‘forking dance of revless reverse’ Love the new format more than my own comment. Shiny sides up!

Laughed so hard I spit out my coffee on the last 15 seconds. Been there, my friend! Just bought a new 2020 BMW K1600GT Premium, and THAT bike has reverse. Can't wait to try it out on my channel once the snow melts in a couple weeks. Come on over and watch all the fun! Here in the US, a lot of guys tour while pulling a trailer. I think you could pull a camper or caravan and forget it was back there with the Triumph. Keep up the good work!

@teapotone3 жыл бұрын
They’re different type of bikes bud - hard to compare them really. The Rocket has real road presence and insane power, you feel like you’re riding an atomic powerhouse that will literally eat anything in its way - but do it with manners and class. The R1250R feels like a precision instrument, razor sharp handling, agile, and still has loads of grunt for road riding. I’d say the BMW will handle better overall at higher speeds, but the Rocket will make you feel like something special 🤷♂️👍

I really like it, apart from it’s loud and there’s no peak. The styling is very unique and I love it personally - I’d prefer a Matt black or Carbon one, but the physical design is beautiful I think. The ‘fid-lock’ magnetic chin strap is the best thing ever - when I try on any other lid now that doesn’t have one, it feels like they are the inferior distant cousin! All kids should use this magnetic strap, it’s so convenient, quick, and incredibly strong. The aperture gives amazing vision, it’s fairly light - all in I really like it, but wish it was quieter
