I can relate to the cold temperature in the garage, here is around 35 degrees , I have a small portable heater to make it easy 😂 👍 Also, good tip for the gasoline container since i only have the plastic ones. Sounds great Del polished up a treat. Well got round to fitting my tyres but had to saw the old ones off only to discover they had inertubes in. Flipping postal strike have ordered a couple of 90° valves stems. Then its back on the road after two months.

If you run the TEC exhausts without a baffle you are best to put a couple of tack welds on the joint of the inside tube or to fab a spacer that is held in by the original 'C clip' (what I did), this is because the inner perforated tube is only push fitted at the factory to allow for repacking - this is explained on the TEC website.

Yeah sure, good point mate...it's so they can be repacked down the line.. in fact im planing to modify the baffle to make a spark arrester with minimal sound reduction, it'll take some noodling, but and interesting little project.

Also, some cut and buff after single stage paint jobs. My new (to me) T100 has a tec exhaust on it I haven't tried it with the baffles out yet, I will be doing that this weekend the scrambler sounds awesome

Hi Alan, just check with George at TEC bike parts, on some of their exhaust systems, the baffle serves to hold the mesh tube in in order to make the silencer re-packable, once the baffle's removed, you can actually hook the mesh tube out if you want to re-pack it, so running without the baffle means you sometimes need to put a couple of tack welds on that mesh tube just to hold it in place... it's not all their systems mate, but do check against the one you have to make sure you're ok... and of course, if you're going to run without the baffle, you may need to re-map it or re-jet the bike so it doesn't run lean (just in case it hasn't been done!).

Looking (and SOUNDING) mighty good! I just have to tell you how funny I thought your thermometer was, with its notes on the side. Feeling Hot, Hot Hot at 70 degrees F! It was 80 degrees here yesterday in Mississippi a few weeks before Christmas! But it will probably be below freezing in a day or two, who knows?? Weather here around the Gulf of Mexico varies wildly. If 70 is Hot, Hot Hot, then Penny would be reduced to a copper puddle here in our summer, and Delboy's Garage would have to change its name to Delboy's Oven! :) Can't wait to see the finished Scrambler, guys. It's purely an emission control device mate, it vapourises any unspent gases and leaves your exhaust a little cleaner, so it's just a consideration for the environment.
