Good progress, don't forget to put a new copper washer between the rear flexi hose and the rear master cylinder barrel. They can leak through there.also the rear brake can be tricky to bleed the air out.

That rear flexi hose routing is spot-on. The rigid pipe is roughly s-shaped and fits as you indicated. I hope you can buy one ready made, because it would be extremely tricky getting those bends right without a proper jig - I'm a retired mechanic and I've made hundreds of brake lines in my time, but I wouldn't want to do that one. The tricky part with that set-up is bleeding the rear brake. The only way to get all the air out is to bleed it with the caliper hanging down from the torque stay, with the bracket detached from the wheel spindle, because that brings the bleed nipple to the top (don't forget to wedge something between the pads to keep the pistons back). Sometimes, when the system is dry, getting the fluid through from the remote reservoir needs a bit of help. The easiest way is with a vacuum type bleeder, but if that doesn't work, I suggest disconnecting the supply hose from the master cylinder to make sure the hose gets filled, before refitting, then slacken the union on the rigid pipe to bleed it from there initially to ensure the system is primed all the way down to the caliper, then bleed that in the normal way. Sorry to write such a long comment, but I hope you find my experience useful. You may get lucky and find it bleeds out straight away without all that, but they can be a tricky bugger. I'm surprised you have a banjo union on one of the front hoses, they are normally found on the US, high bar version. UK spec with low bars usually has a short flexi with male, threaded union at both ends to connect the master cylinder to the rigid pipe on the top yoke.

Hi Rick - thanks for the comment and info - length no problem it's all good for me and the community. Thanks for confirming that I appear to have got it right so far and the good news is that I've managed to find a supplier of the S shaped brake pipe so let's see if that fits when it arrives. I appreciate the tips on bleeding and have bled the later T140V rear brake setup and done that in stages - master cylinder first then hose then pipe by slightly breaking the joints. Finally yes I agree - the banjo on the front top hose is wrong as we don't have US bars - bloody suppliers again! Thanks again.

It’s coming along nicely, but what a faff that rear calliper mounting is! How frustrating when you research to order the correct part numbers, then when it arrives, the item you receive is wrong.🤷‍♀️
