I think Bluetooth connectivity has been the worst innovation in motorcycle industry, its not used by 99% of population but adds additional cost. Same goes for navigation because people who will use navigation will looking at their mounted phone which will show more data, nobody can rely on simply arrows for navigation, we already have enough problems with full screen map taking us to wrong places.

Agreed, call alerts and turn by turn navigation are not as practical as it may sound on paper.. but personally for me, it would be cool and helpful to be able to check my ride statistics, economy statistics and all in my mobile..

And about the engine being a stressed member, I guess what you mean to say is that the engine in the Pulsar 200NS, the engine is partially stressed since most of the rigidity is provided by the two backbone members. The front mounts are not very strong. This holds especially true for the KTM Duke. The front two engine "hangers" are not very strong and used to break in the past. In this bike, the down tubes are clearly very stiff and seem to be of the same diameter as the other parts of the frame. That suggests that the Speed 400's engine is a fully stressed member of the chassis.

No! That is NOT what "using engine as a stressed member" means 🤦 I guess I will have to do another video on the subject. Had done one a year or two ago when I had schooled Shumi on it.

@@RealAutoReviews The engine is a stressed member when it acts as part of the chassis and when the chassis cannot retain its rigidity without the engine installed. In the KTM Dukes, you can remove the engine and the chassis will remain as it is. In early batches, the front engine mounts used to snap and the bike would have no additional vibration or chassis flex. So, I guess the engine is not a stressed member there. The chassis design of the Speed 400 suggests that it cannot retain its shape if you were to sit on the bike without the engine there. Obviously, it's not as extreme as in the Bullet 350 in which the chassis bends a little bit when you remove the drivetrain.

The information on the chain was new - something only Mr. Shiraz Bhaijaan can give. Also, the layout thingy was neatly explained to put a plaster on those blabbering mouths bullshitting the 'shared engine' cry. Few pointers: 1. Is the end can SS ? 2. I saw somewhere that the coolant filler cap is below the fuel tank (Not sure) - if it is there, then what about the little reservoir at the bottom ? 3. Where they have hidden the CAT ? 4. What about the assist function in the clutch ? Or is it only a slipper unit ? (If you could please tone down (A request) the background irritating music a bit in the future videos, that'd be great)

They have really hit the ball out of the park this time! 2) I don't see that as an anomaly. Many bikes have a similar arrangement. 3) They have hidden it so nicely that you might not see it in any video, but it's of course there. The next I get the bike, I shall take a picture for you and post it in the community section 😃 4) Have mentioned it in almost every review that there is no "assist" function in any motorcycle. Manufacturers are able to use softer/lighter springs in a slipper clutch, which in turn makes the clutch pull soft. It's an offshoot, and not a dedicated "engineered function" 😃

Brother please reply, No triumph showroom in Assam. previously I asked about v storm vs RS. You said v storm. Took a test ride. Wouldn't say I loved it. But that wasn't enough to know the bike. Today Shiraz bhai had a 80km ride with my brother on Vulcan 650, I was astonished to see that not even once the 400 single felt weaker during the overtakes, no doubt vulcan can hold 140 easily all day, but the speed 400 is a very capable tourer in view of overtaking on highways ❤️😁 aapne mazedaar bike dilwa dia shiraz bhai.. love you ❤️😁

One question.Why is there embargo on uploading review till 14th? I'm not able figure this out..

So that all reviewers get enough time to to edit their videos,.and write their reviews.For example, the chaps at Autocar, Gagan, and a few others rode it on the 6th. I rode it yesterday on the 10th. And there are around 30 who rode it today on the 11th. So if the chaps who rode it on day one, were to put their reviews out, who would want to see others reviews? That is why the manufacturers keep an embargo to level out the playing field. It's not in the interest of the manufacturers. It's in our interest. 😃 Hope this clears it!

@@RealAutoReviews I watched it but I still think I'll wait for some long term review. Got used to the reliability of Yamaha. 8hr of redline and still no issues. Have crossed water which is upto the speedometer without any issues. It's extremely reliable. Talking about mt15.

Arey hinged nahi hoti hai jinme, wo haath mei leni paddti hai na petrol bharaate time! Also, kholna band karna zyada aasaan rehta hai isme. Plus, the shut lines are generally better. Lastly, samajh lo ki two level security hai. Unhinged khul gayi to chor tank cap bhi le jaayega petrol ke saath saath. Hinged itni jaldi khulegi nahi, aur khulegi to sirf petrol jaayega, cap nahi 🤣

This type of hybrid frame might have been used to preserve retro aesthetics unlike Hero-Harley where there are tubes covering the cylinder which looks very ugly.

No, Triumph isn't. But a few brochure readers masquerading as reviewers, who can't tell a flute from a baffle, were implying that it's a KTM/Domi engine. That's why I had to burst their bubble.
