Enjoyed the vid mate. Tip, normalize the audio so it's not absolutely pounding our ear drums with techno music, and then basically inaudible when you start talking. Would make the vid much better.

Added one to my garage of Victory's, Triumph Thunderbird 1700 and Moto Guzzi 14oo California and it rounds out my repertoire nicely. It was an adjustment from my big bikes but I've developed a strong affinity for it. Love the acceleration. Helpful hint: You don't need a trickle charger unless you only ride it once every three months.

Mine doesn't get used every week 🙂 Plus had issues with original not lasting long so always good to keep it on trickle if not using to often 👍

Fork brace makes a difference. Had one on a W650 and I noticed it when riding faster.

Thanks for the great rundown. Can I ask, when you did the exhaust mods xpipe etc did you need to have the bike tuned afterwards to suit those mods? Cheers from Oz. 👍

did you fit the xpipe? if not, how much was the install and wa that a local mehcanic or dealer? I have short legs.... how do you find the bike with slow speed control e.g. u-turns, filtering, tight juntions etc. Finally, have you compared this model to the newier one. I would be buying used, but unsure if the new model is worth the extra money.

I've covered every topic in my vlogs if you look back through my videos. But in short yes I fitted the x pipe myself took me about 4 hours (I'm not a mechanic but it's an awful job to do). Look at my Daytona boots vlogs, well worth the investment for us short riders as gives you extra height to get feet down more. As for the newer model it's only a slight improvement but if your thinking x pipe older model is easier as new ones are welded in. I'd say test ride both and decide as it's very marginal in my opinion. 🙂👍

When you switch ignition on and the fuel pump does its thing, without engine on , do you get an electrical noise from the throttle bodies under the seat area which changes pitch if you turn throttle ? My recently purchased ‘20 one does.

It's the fly by wire. Mine does it too.. nothing to worry about it

How complicated is the de-cat ? Can you have it done by the dealer ?

Took me about 4hrs on the garage floor... It's un doing all the frame to have enough wiggle room to remove which takes the time....
