Saw them many times in the 80’s. Still to this day the best live band I’ve ever seen. Their laser and pyrotechnics were the best, and Rik Emmett.....that man’s voice back in the day, along with his guitar playing....they were definitely one of the best live bands back in the day.!! Wish we could all go back......

This is my favorite Triumph song! Man, i wish these guys would get together for a reunion tour. I saw the Thunder 7 show, and it was by far the best concert i've ever been to....nothing i've been to since has come close to it...musical talent, vocal talent, lyrics, lightshow, sound....every part of it was pure genius, including the album itself! I don't ever remember being "so caught up" in a concert. I saw Rik Emmett perform last night in Moncton....GREAT performance, but just wasn't the same without Gil and Mike on stage with him.
@BeeBumper5 жыл бұрын
The good news is they buried the bad blood that arose at the end of their run, and they are good friends today, and they did a 2 shot show in 2008. They don't see another reunion in the near future, but they are close again.

Dog Groomer; COMPLETELY AGREED!!!!! This song has such PERFECT RHYTHM that can only perfected by a drummer doing lead vocals. I luv Emmett''s guitar-playing ability but Moore's vocals carry a song much better (& w/much more emphasis & FEELING)..

@@williambandyk327 I don't think even (Professor) Moore would agree with you on this one but agreed 👉Gil is one of the G.O.A.T. Maybe, Rare Earth is the other drummer that could hold a candle to Gils singing and tight drumming. Triumph has always been one of my favorite bands. Best shows ever! Can you imagine walking into class and Gil Moore is your professor? Or maybe Rik Emmett because I heard they are both teaching music now.
@williambandyk3272 жыл бұрын
@@rustytimetraveler Agreed from a drumming standpoint RE: Peart vs. Moore; however, Moore's singing & songwriting abilities compelled me 2 make the comment that I did. There4, I do stand by my comment as such. W/that said, I'll even add the L8, Gr8 Jerry Mercer (from April Wine) in2 the same plateau.

I would definitely have to agree that the musical spectrum these days is way off kilter. Where the hell did all of this good music go? My God, we need several bands like this today. This all just proves that music today is more about money then actual musical talent. If Eminem could play either instrument half this good, hell would indeed freeze over. lol Trimph fan forever! ROCK ON!!!
