Triumph Street Triple RX - Test Ride and Review

I have a 2014 Street Triple R (with a quick shifter & lots of accessiors). After nearly a year of ownership I have to say I love it and won't go back to a super sport any time soon. Honest review fella, nice one.

You may be the first person I've heard compliment the mirrors :) No traction control. You may prefer the standard version which has more compliant suspension (and maybe seat). Brakes a little softer also. You would need to add the quick shifter on standard model but well worth it. I had a STR and daytona. Kept the daytona which I can't see ever parting with :)

I took delivery of this bike 2 weeks ago. I love it! Changed to exhaust to a remus hypercone. Fuck its loud now!

I have the str on a 63 plate.ive changed the air filter k&n ive put a quick shifter on and a seat cowl and ive put the sc project gp2 on lv the bike

You may be correct but the dealer told me it would only work 2nd to 6th so didn't try 1st to 2nd TBH

+Emphase Not at all, I very rarely get a clunk. Even the notorious 1st gear clunk common on most bikes, is now replaced with a subtle "click" on the Street Triple.

+Chilli Vega well I honestly don't see why not but the best way to find out is try it on a test ride and see. It's an amazing bike and not any where as extreme as the current crop of 1000's. It can be ridden sensibly (but you won't lol). Great bike and a lot of fun. Just test and if you buy then learn slow and easy.
