I think the seat height is a bit more than 265mm as quoted. More like 765mm.

Earlier this year I took in all the bike reviews I could and when it finally came time to pull the trigger on my first bike I got a 22 Street Twin. It’s really great. Plenty of power even overtaking on American freeways. Fastest I’ve gone is 110 mph. Brakes as stated are good I’ve never felt let down by them. Looks are perfect. I get compliments every time I go out on it. I’ve done a fair amount of customization to mine like a ribbed bench seat, upgraded fork springs and rear shocks, LED headlight, shorty slip ons from Tec, adjustable CNC levers,etc., and some other aesthetic embellishments. Really all mine now. I truly love it and while I do plan to get a faster bike to keep it company, it is all you really need. I’ve done 430 miles in a day on it no problem.

The only problem is the 12L fuel tank ..for London it's okay but in other big countries like Australia 12l fuel tank is like walking down the street with a bike to look fuel station.

Yup it is too small really, I suppose any bigger though and it would compromise the stunning looks!

Those Triumph Bonnevilles are my sweet spot and I hope to own one in the future. I've heard the Street Twin is a little lighter than the T100 but you can bet I'll be trying them all 😉

Hi Lily, yes the Street Twin is a really good package. Very light and brilliant handling etc.. for on the road. I suppose not as classic looking as the T100 but it has better all round performance on the road 👍 To be honest all of the Bonneville range is brilliant! Just depends which one pulls at your heart strings the most.

Got mine as a first bike last summer. Love it and don't see a need for any more power. I just wish they'd given it a 17 inch front wheel to match the Speed Twin as the cast 18 can look like a wagon wheel on the single disk side.

I got a ninja 650 as my first bike and looking for my second bike now. Im deciding between the street twin and the t100 and im at a lost both very nice

I think you will find that the Ninja 650 is faster than the Bonneville 900! However the Bonnevilles do have a nice amount of torque and are great for road riding. Also the build quality and character of the bikes are second to know! Both great bikes, the Street Twin is more sport oriented and the T100 is better for cruising around 👍 Can't go wrong either way.

I saw your review on street scrambler, and I know you are big fan of it. Would you say it’s worth paying 2-3k extra to get scrambler rather than this street twin? How are they different in your opinion?

I suppose it all depends on how wealthy you are feeling! But yes I would always go for the Scrambler over this Street Twin. Just much prefer the looks and riding style 👍

Like the bike Angus for me though needs two clocks instead of one and I would go for the standard rather than this purely because I don't see the extra cost as being worth it . Have to ask have tried the Enfield Interceptor I would be interested to know your thoughts on it . good one cheers 👍

Hi, same I really liked the bike and yes I think Triumph should put their dual alloy clocks on all of their Bonneville range! Also I agree I actually prefer the standard paint schemes!! I haven't yet, trying to find a good dealership near me where I can get a good amount of time test riding the Interceptor. Its definitely on the list for testing 👍
