Blessen Alex These bikes are adventure bikes and tend to be in off-road situations more often and in situations like these, alloy wheels could break and is expensive to replace whereas spoke wheels is cheap to fix and more durable. That's why the XR variant has alloys because it's more road based.

Blessen Alex alloy made up of cast aluminium have brittleness property, where as spoke which is iron steel varrient is more tensile and compressive strength, so in off road more strength will need, and also cheaper than cast aluminium

Blessen Alex the spoke wheels handle the off road better as there isn't much to break Also it isn't a big problem if 1 spoke bends however if 1 entire alloy bends it becomes very difficult to ride the motorcycle
