G'day Paul, l have a lathe and l have learnt a lot from watching you in the past, l have always sent the flywheels away to specialist for repairs but on the back of your videos l feel confident to have a go next time it's required, cheers mate, Neil 🤠.

I remember theses bikes were notorious for big ends back in the day. One of my workmates had one and it was off the road for ages in the sixties because of the shortage of spares.

I love the way you make these renovations look easy. It would take me ages to do that but I'm pleading a lack of facilities to justify my poor performance.

It is amazing the amount of work that you do to these bikes in order to keep them running properly and being good order. It would be quite something else to have to pay somebody to do the work.

Ah, I shall put my hands up, I don't own this one and am working on it for the owner, who is paying to have it done. He bought this machine as a 'restored' example.

Thought it rattled more when revved, in comparison to machines you've fettled.

Great progress on the bottom end. Now if the transmission tells its story it won’t be long!👍

Good decision to hand the bike to a cub lover with some parts in stock.

This is more like it. Start from the middle and work outwards.

Do you have other videos where you show in detail how you repair a crank?

There should be one in my collection featuring a Royal Enfield Bullet crank repair job.
