Triumph Tiger Sport 660 factory Panniers - does your helmet fit?

I've read in comment sections about some having troubles fitting their helmets in the Triumph Tiger 660 panniers so here I try to fit each of the 3 helmets I own sized large to extra large into the Triumph panniers.
- LS2 Verso helmet
- HJC Large C-17 full face helmet
- Sena XL Outrush helmet

Thank you for this! I've tried fitting my helmet into the panniers but couldn't get it to work. Your tip on how to properly place it allows me to now place my helmet without issues!

With some of my helmets, I wear an XXL and with others an XL. All of my helmets have Bluetooth. I own a Sena, a SHOEI and a Bell.

Size liters? I have hjc 3xl flip up, or full size

You would have to find some way to try it. The large barely fits and only if you put it in just the right way.

Hi, can you tell me what model of deflector do you use and is it good? I'm actually a little tall for just the wind-shield of the Tiger 660 sport. Thanks!

The one in the video is the Puig clip on visor. Sometimes it's really helpful and other times, like against stronger winds and crosswinds, it is not as helpful to reduce buffeting and it also helps keep the bugs from splatting on my helmet visor.

Do you have ignitation problems? It looks like the bike want to start for the second try 😢

I think if I remember correctly in this video the bike had just fired when I let go of the starter button and that set it off a bit cranky. The typical starting problem that you hear people talking about has pretty much cleared itself. One good tip is to just stop cranking, wait 2 seconds and try again (you don't even need to shut off the ignition) ... it pretty much always starts nice this way and I think it trains the computer in the bike to use the correct mixture.

Hi Dan! I guess that will have to be the next video ... a review of the Puig spoiler. So my view is kind of the same as I think I mentioned in another video. If the wind is behind you it is super effective and gives very calm air at highway speed. If it's fairly calm day the spoiler is quite effective to improve the riding pleasure. Against wind or with angled cross winds it's not as good and sometimes the air is not good at all. Sometimes a slight lean forward or even lowering the windshield down a click or two can get ride of the hard head rattling buffeting and find something a little more pleasant. I'm also trying to lower the noise level as I've had some issues with tinnitus so maybe I should clarify that. ... and yes, if you're wondering, I am wearing ear plugs. When I stand up on the pegs it doesn't get quieter so I think having it on the bike is on the right track. In worst scenerio's it does provide something to get low and duck behind and give my ears a break from the wind noise levels.

I'll be able to give the bike a thorough test ride next week at Americade. Looking forward to trying it again. And looking forward to a possible future video on the spoiler. I test rode a tiger 660 over the weekend that had the cal-sci windshield on it with a spoiler and I got zero buffeting. YMMV but if it works for you that would be great.

Yeah ... It took me that long to break it in. :-) .... anyway I did replace it now this year. I'll have to do a review soon!
