In this video we were lucky enough to be offered 2 bikes from Chesterfield Triumph. The beautiful 900 Scrambler and the impressive Tiger sport 660. We took them out and without getting technical, other people do that better, we give our real world thoughts on owning these machines, enjoy.

I have the Street Scrambler 900. Fantastic bike. Although, I must add it does great going over 70mph. I was surprised at how well it cruises on highways and now is my choice for longer trips. I did put a small windscreen on it and it really helps.

I've no doubt it can do over 70, it's just that wind! A screen wouod certainly help. Bet it looks pretty cool too 😎

Very much enjoyed your review, your humor and perspective -- I just passed 1000 miles on my Tiger Sport 660 and have nothing but good things to say about it. That triple engine with 80 hp is so smooth with enough power for my kind of riding -- Triumph says the top speed is 140 mph and I've had it to 100 so far and can feel it wants to rev more.

I have just found your channel by chance. Wow, the style in which you deliver the footage is exquisite, Infact it's some of the best that I have seen on KZbin. The fact that you have a short arse and a lanky sod gives a complete balance to your review.The editing and filming is of a unique and artist nature . Chapeau gentlemen I indeed subscribed.

Great video guys. I see the quality of up every time you upload. The real fun your having comes across well. Good luck choosing a second ride. I know how hard it is to get a new bike and lose a bike you loved for years. I also have a2015 crf250l. I love it and never want to part with it, so I purchased a used 2016 Africa Twin. Love that bike as well. Maybe you guys want to look at the used market as well? Anyways, thanks for the content !

Hey Nick, thanks for the comment, really appreciate it 🙏 yeah I think it’s more likely to be another bike rather than a replacement tbh the more we look. The second hand market is definitely a good source and one we are scouring……regularly 😂. Cheers bud, ride safe 🤙

This is why I love my T7 it rides great on the road and for a big bike it's good enough on the trails. I am looking at the 300 rally though as a second bike. Great video chaps good to see you pair 😁

Hey Chris, yeah there’s no denying it T7 is a great , even if we weren’t blown away by it when we took it out. A 300 rally will certainly be a good friend to it 👍

Lovely bikes!!! I just love the Tiger 660 as a all rounder motorcycle. Do you think the 660 is beginner friendly? Looking for my first bike :) I am 1,82 cm high with 100kg (little beast). Thanx for the nice review of those wonderful bikes. Cheers from Serbia :)

Definitely personal preference on the scrambler. It’s a naked bike like all others . Definitely disagree about best for under 50 mph. Many reviewers have said this could be the perfect long distance adventure bike as it’s so comfortable with its position etc . Anyway nice vid
@lightweightadv
@lightweightadv Жыл бұрын
Thanks. Yeah, we just found it a bit too breezy over 50, much like any naked bike would be. Certainly personal preference. Apart from that, it's a cracking bike that could certainly be toured on.

I've only put ~ 170 mlies on my Tiger 660, but I've enjoyed every one so far. At 6 ft but with only a ~31 in inseam I can flat foot it easily, but even with the windscreen at max height I get a lot of wind in my face, even with an additional deflector. 1st gear is too short IMO, but those are my only two issues. The scrambler is gorgeous, but coming off '71 Honda Scrambler and knowing I'd only be riding paved roads I went with the TS. Once I can move out of town, the scrambler will be back on my mind.

Can't say I noticed the wind, must have been because I jumped off the scrambler onto the Tiger 😅. Both are great bikes, they just serve two completely different purposes. The scrambler was beautiful that's for sure 👌🏻

Don't give up on a modern scrambler, they are nothing like your '71 Honda. They can be a delight on the pavement, and handle rough roads, and some offroad duty. About wind in the face ---- it's a motorcycle. Cheers.

Do a test ride of the RE 411 Scram. Based on the Himalayan, people want to hate these affordable bikes until they actually ride one, then they want one if they can get beyond their confusion. They have proven themselves in the field and are a worthy choice. You can have your CRF and a Scram for less than most other so-called adventure bikes.

It can be confusing. You walk out in the garage and wonder ------ What do I want to do? ----- hit the trails --- or --- carve up some back country pavement. Life is not always easy.

Hey Kostas, the Scrambler is the much nicer bike to be upon. The Tiger is far more practical, but a bit more dull as a result. Pros and cons of both machines I suppose
