I have had mine for two months from new. I agree with you about the heated grips. I have come down from a BMW R1250RS and have had no regrets.

Definitely agree with you -- I so enjoy my Tiger Sport 660 and I just passed 1000 miles. I also got that Korosi Red paint. Thanks for the review.

Test rode one this weekend - sure felt like something I could have a ton of fun on. What a well balanced machine. Thanks for the review

I bought mine last November. Added the heated grips and they work fine for me; they take a couple of minutes to warm up but on the highest setting they get real hot.

The oem ones on mine are definitely busted. The dealership I took it too is waiting on triumph to respond. But I'm glad yours are working!

Nice! I am looking at it as a possible second bike. Would you recommend it based on your experience? Is it good in the twisties?

Great feedback. Hopefully, the heated grips have a fix or hack. It would be such a bonus around here.

They work... Just not... Great.

@@VectorBurnOfficial ahh! If it's enough to dull the biting cold, taking the edge off...then its a win.

You can sort this out asking your dealership to upgrade the software Mine are working perfectly now😊

I am starting to think the heated grip update is a myth. I just bought mine and immediately took it in for the 600 mile service where they should have performed any software updates in addition to the maintenance. My grips are trash. I'm working with a local dealer to see if I can warranty them to get them working. If that fails, I'll buy an unheated throttle tube and put some Koso, BikeMaster, or Oxford heated grips on. I've used each of those and they all work extremely well. I tested some BikeMasters on my other bike and went from 61 to 86 degrees in 5 minutes on setting 3 of 5. The Triumph grips only went from 61 to 77 in 5 minutes on high.

You say you are 5 feet 6 or 7 inches tall, so it's surprising to me that you did not mention the seat height, which is a lot more than a Bonneville's. Also a "comfort seat" would (I guess) add some extra padding. How do you find the height?
@VectorBurnOfficial Жыл бұрын
I believe I mention it in my previous video on this bike. I used to own a bmw g 310 GS which has a similar seat height of something like 33.8in ... I'm used to it. I just put one foot down at stops.

Really helpful for potential buyers. Do you notice the significant fork dive some other reviews mention? Is this really all that bad ?
@VectorBurnOfficial Жыл бұрын
I haven't noticed anything significant. But I haven't done any high speed + extreme braking yet.
@2006Whippet Жыл бұрын
I have the TS 660 and can agree that it does have a bit of dive on hard braking. I don't personally find it terrible but it is noticeable. It does not detract from how much I like the bike.

Such a beauty!!! Do you really think it is beginner friendly? I am a 52 years beginner with 1,82 cm high and 100kg (fat beast) looking for my first bike and felt in love with the Tiger!! Thanx for the video and regards from far away Serbia 🇷🇸
