The most impressive part of this US Festival show is that this took place during the era where Triumph were not yet using a 2nd guitar player for live shows. So all of the guitar you hear during this show came from Emmett. They started using Rick Santers for live shows in either 84 or 85...

For sure. He definitely is. To me, what makes this performance extra impressive is that this was during the period before they started using a 2nd guitar player for live shows. All of the guitar you hear during this show is from Rik Emmett. That is freaking impressive. I think that it was 84 or 85 when they started using Rick Santers as a 2nd, live guitar player. They then used Dave Dunlop for the Sweden and documentary shows. I am very familiar with Dunlop for his work with the Jeans and Classics band...who tour North America playing with orchestras. They will do sets of music from bands like Pink Floyd, Zepplin, Queen....etc...with full symphonies...it is crazy impressive.
