This song really exemplified the best drumming that Nick was capable of playing IMO. The fact that Alex absolutely nails every beat with flawless perfection while seeming almost bored is insane to me! Nick gets a lot of hate but he is a very talented studio drummer (as this epic song proves), but Alex is just on a whole different level from ANY of Trivium's former drummers. Incredible talent...

Nick was very good as far as composition and studio performance go, but his delivery on live shows was mostly sloppy (same with Travis, many times), Alex however.. he is the WHOLE package! Absolutely respect worthy!

Nick was great but he would often get carried away with the tempos of songs. He does well when he's going fast but he would sometimes push songs to their breaking points and throw the other members off. Alex is just the perfect fit for them.
