He's among my Big 4 of drummers. Danny Carey - the guy is an octopus Neal Peart - nothing even needs to be said here Austin Archey - that man beats those drums like they owe him money Alex Bent - this guy has taken Trivium, a long time favorite of mine, and elevated them to a whole new level, Trivium has always been a damn good band, but their last 3 albums are cemented as some of the most amazingly badass metal out there, I'd hold these records next to Reign In Blood, Master of Puppets, Far Beyond Driven, Rust in Peace. On a personal note - Alex, I missed the hell out of these playthroughs, you did the entire album for TSATS, but I didn't see them for WTDMS or ITCOTD, this is the first one I've seen, if you have time, please post the rest whenever you get a chance, you can see the talent from listening, but actually watching you work like this is mind-melting.

Alex and Austin are my personal favourites. Especially once you hear the story how Austin played a Lorna Shore tour with a herniated disc in his spine. And he still played so incredibly well, imagine the pain.

Alex and heafy Have made this band literally imo the best band in the world.... as far as I'm concerned there is not a band who can touch them, even old trivium was amazing to hear but these guys have really given trivium such an amazing new sound!!!... it's like the harmony has progressed so far forward even bands like IN Flames and gojira still can't touch these guys now.... although I do think IN FLAMES new album foregone is a new start into a future of music as fantastic as Trivium!!!!!....
