Part of what makes Alex so special is that in addition to his extreme technical abilities, he has so much STYLE. Technicality for the sake of technicality can sound a bit sterile sometimes, but his parts are always creative, dynamic and just FUN! Damn, I love this so much.

This is actually my complaint about early trivium. Both Acendancy and The Crusade were good, but I felt they were far more 'technically good' than stylistically good. They've come a long way-- in a good way.

Alex Bent is an awesome drummer, but the band is so talented, to always come up with such fantastic new material, which belies belief, as they did with their previous drummers, so credit goes to the Band as a whole... Alex just adds his "BENT" to what they create.. Can't wait for the new album..

Someone has already pointed out the nod to Silence in The Snow, and I think that at @ 7:25 that dude with the old logo on his shield is posting homage to The Crusade album, like the guy is literally fighting in The Crusades in this picture. I wonder if (really over thinking it here lmao) all of the Albums are part of one big story; a Trivium Universe, if you will. Maybe this album will tie them all together somehow 🤔
@abrahamhernandez40703 жыл бұрын
I always think to my self that every song has a story and it makes sense if you link them up together like Pull harder on the strings of your martyr it says how the king opens his genocidal wings and that matches up with the character on the albums maybe that character is the king that is being described in the song. And it just makes you think more how every single song and album might have a connection a Trivium Universe
