Ja, so mag ich das: Fahrende Züge und zackige Musik. Brauchen heute keine Nieten zählen. Und wenn die Griffstangen angegossen und nicht einzeln angesetzt sind, dann können sie wenigstens nicht abbrechen! Gute Fahrt weiterhin!

Oh, de BLS loc was wel het meest begeerde. Ik heb nog boekjes van Trix Express Dienst waarin, in de jaren 50 het model werd gepromood.

What ever happened? Trix Express was brilliant - nice looking, robust, ran well... was it the three rails? Marklin had no issues with that, or maybe was big enough to not let it worry them. maybe just didn't appeal to the scale modeller like fleischmann? Maybe Trix Express was more popular in Europe than I give it credit for... Great layout anyway, especially the main station - that is a beauty!

Trix Express is a brand known for its rubustness. It is indeed a 3-rail system. However there where some issues with compatibility. The wheels on the Trix Express moddels have a thicker and higher lip to run on the bakelite rails. They then went on with rails on cardboard, they maintained the higher profile of the rails to alow the older trains to run on them. They sticked to their own wheelsizes. You can not run Trix Express moddels on other rails then the Trix Express rails. So interchangebility is an issue. That's why all the other companys survived because they where more comaptible with eachother.
