What’s that TwitCasting-thing? Are Nemophila doin’ live streams there too? Haven’t heard these before.
@michelm.6033 Жыл бұрын
@@bocatampere Sorry my reply disappeared so I’ll be more cryptic. Saki and Mayu occasionally have live streams on their individual channels. Some are archived for a while. They sometimes mention Nemophila, but are geared towards their personal lives. They are similar to their KZbin streams, just individually. They are almost entirely in Japanese, but Saki will reply in English to comments left in English. I listen to help my language studies by using a phone app next to the computer. If you want I’ll leave their channels in a separate reply in case it’s blocked again.

Same here in the UK too man, although we have had the luck to be graced with these ladies, Lovebites, Babymetal and Band Maid live, even as I sadly managed to miss them here as they were doing at the same time I was discovering them. So many people still haven't heard of them - I'd like to think it's improving.. Happy to see you guys are getting Lovebites in September! You know how it is though man.. bands like this just don't get the exposure.. metal more so these days than most in mainstream - I think at this point it's basically reactors who click onto these things and manage to raise awareness. Although I have a passion for all things Japanese it's for sure that I could've just as easily missed out on a lot of the j-metal/rock scene, and I'm still digging. As I write this I'm still working my way through your reaction catalogue, but if you haven't yet seen them get a look at LISA-X BAND - they have a couple of music videos out there and really deserve so much better. Her guitar playing is superb and the vocalist Rina has a beautiful voice and technique.. truly another collective of accomplished musicians.

You got the 2nd pronunciation right "neh-mo-FEE-la" Great reaction to Dissension! Other dope songs I recommend would be: Rise (official video) Revive (official video) Adabana (official video) Also they recenty covered Metallica's Master of Puppets!! It's an audio only video. They down-tuned their 7 string guitars and 5 string bass so the song sounds so dark and heavy!!! Check'em all out!!!

Those who like Lovebites and Nemophila should definitely check out another hidden gem called "Ark Royal" (suggestions would be Altar of Sacrifice, Vengeance and Bloom in Hades). A couple of rather new bands to be mentioned as well are "Paleneo" and "Lumirise".

Yes, the Japan is full of those heavy shredding, beautiful woman, who play music and bring their messages through with grace! You could check also female bands Bridear (for start you could check song Light in the Dark), Aldious (with live version of song "We are" with the singer Miki Oyama), and lot of more... And, one thing is for sure...all of them are "live" even better then is studio! Also, they are very polite and often answer to a number of their fans on messages, comments and similar...The Japanese metal (female, mixed or male) are very deep, but joyful rabbit hole!

I'm surprised, I've never heard it mentioned. The fact that Mayu don't speak english (she learn her english lyrics by ear) seems to contradict this story? And prior to Nemophila, Mayu was singing in another band (Lipstick, I have one of their CD) since she was 18 if I'm right. How did you heard about it, from an interview?

@@RazvanMihaeanu At least in Swedish it is difference in pronunciation of the name of a flower and the pronunciation of the latin/scientific name of the flower. And I am quite sure that it is the same in English. And in this case the first sounds like the pronunciation of the latin/scientific name and the second like the pronunciation of the actual flower in English. Anyhow, it is the second pronunciation that is right, that is how they say it.

@@rolandkarlsson7072 The band members pronounce it like in this second stance, but with an "L" towards an "R"... and the "PH" as "H"... almost as "Nemohira". *edit - overall, the accent doesn't fall on the letter "O" like in the American language.
