I felt like writing a little bit, so here: The wind rushed in his ears. Flames flickered around him in an aura like orb. His fur fluttered and flowed. Falling almost like a shooting star, the speed increasing the flame. With a crash and a thud, a blast was heard and his state of freefall had ended. Pain coursed through his entire body. Nothing seemed damaged or broken. But, something wasn't right. He felt that something was missing. Almost as if a "ding" had gone off. Checking his left wing, he suddenly realized that there was no wing. It was cleanly torn off. Well I spent like 15 minutes on this :')
