I had this game on NES and loved playing it with my brother but, I'm sure I would have loved it even more with these Claymation style graphics.

Trog's arcade cabinet makes a brief appearance in the 1991 film Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Characters from the game make appearances in later Midway titles. In Revolution X, one of the Trogs appears as a shootable "easter egg". In CarnEvil, a Trog can be found in the "Freak Show" portion of the game as an attraction on the background frozen in a block of ice labeled "Frozen In Time!", while the dinosaur characters also appear as enemies in the "Rickety Town" level.

Yes it does, and I, a gaming connoisseur as a child, recognized it instantly in cinemas and freaked out lol

They should release this game as a DLC game for the Switch (Nintendo E Shop), PS4 (PlayStation Network), XBOX 1 (XBOX Live), IOS, Android, and hopefully PC (both Steam and Microsoft Windows store)

If you punch a Trog from the side, he will take two steps forward. If he is by the edge, he will fall off and you will get 1000 points. You can also do this to make him fall into a hole or a tar pit.

Why has this game never been included in a Midway arcade compilation at all?!

Clearly someone doesn't know you can walk across the Tarpits when you get the barrier from the Horseshoe until it wears off. Lol.

Was the "Ultimate High Score" thing at the end ever implemented?
@ThunderFist19784 жыл бұрын
Bryan Ekers It is in the NES version. In that version, it says that to get the ultimate high score, you should try to save at least one continue at the end. I think you get three continues on the NES. I forget what my score was at the end, but I beat the game one time one time using two continues. You get points for every island you clear, for every life you have left, and for every continue you have left. I forget how much the continue bonus is, but it’s pretty substantial.
