Trog! (NES) - Retro Game Showcase

This was one of my family’s favorite 2-player games. The different level layouts, weapons, enemies, etc. made the game stay fresh and dynamic as you both progressed (plus the randomness of having 2 players). If you play just single player then it’s not as fun. Wasn’t another game quite like it at the time, at least from what I could find.

It's always awesome to hear about people's experiences with games like this! I know my brother and I would have loved it if we had known about it back then asI definitely enjoyed it more in 2 player mode! The closest I can think of is maybe Pac-Man, but honestly, I think Trog! is better. Personally, I wasn't a fan of the music, I found it to be a bit grating to be honest, but I would have definitely loved this as a kid even more!
