I always say I wish I had the confidence of someone who blasts their music without headphones. Is it annoying when I’m on the train and want silence/to listen to my own things? Yeah especially if it’s not catchy lol. But low key admire the freedom of people who just do stuff (within limits of course). Also this is random but I started watching this channel in college when my mental/physical health was trash lol and now I’m starting an internship in grad school. Thanks for giving chill vibes throughout the years ✌🏽

Your take and this video are so based. Cringe culture is a sham and I hope we'll one day look back on it the same way these folks look at people they find "cringe". I don't hate that word but it's so misused. Gosh it makes me weep anytime I hear someone shoot people doing harmless things and having fun with it down. I don't know why some have to be so mean, bitter and judgemental all the time. Are they chasing that specific thrill they get when they feel superior shitting on others at that moment? Who knows. Conformity, traditions and certain types of normativity have such a strong hold on peeps, I guess.

I think them feeling superior is definitely a big part of it, but it's really their internalized embarrassment and shame bc they'd never have the guts to do anything these 'influencers' do in public!

It seems like a lot of people just dont know the difference between vanity and authenticity. I love when people 'out' their intelligence because it shows how shallow they are underneath this fake ' im so cool & trendy' persona. This obsession of wanting other people to do as they do or have the emotions that they have is egotistical in nature. We all enjoy different things in different ways and that shouldnt bother you. They get these learned behaviors from shallow parents and shallow peers. You ARE who you socialize with. Indeed. Half of influencers arent popular for fitting in, theyre popular for being "trendy" and shallow. Deeming what they do and like as "better" than others.
