That rhythm is in the pocket and the composition is breathtaking. Always was my favorite Uematsu piece ever since playing FF2 US on my snes. This song reminds of happier times and always brings a tear.

One of the more melodic and pleasant baselines my ears have ever found. Uematsu is among my fav composers of all time and pieces like this, the versatile arrangement that lends it self to many instrumental arrangements? Perfect harmony shows and is generally only achieved by masters of the craft. And omg the horn and bass player!!! All three are bad ass. Im partial to the bass line.

The trumpet harmony is beautiful. Easily my favorite rendition of Troian Beauty. This Quintet gives the breathtaking , gorgeous composition it's due. This one's In my personal Umetsu's top 5 compositions for what its worth. Always stuck with me like few other musical compositions have and I've listened to my fair share of music and variety. Something about Umetsu's music gives it a unique categorization of its own. There's really nothing else like it. Serene beauty.

This deserves so many more views! This is fantastic! The instruments chosen really work. IIRC the original midi file had harp, bass guitar, violins, and clarinet, but this sounds wonderful like this too, clearly the harp and bass guitar do the lion's share of the work in keeping this song sounding like the original. I would not have expected that at all, at least not in the case of the bass guitar, I would have said the clarinet would be the next most important, but I don't even miss it in the slightest nor the violins, the horns do a wonderful job.
