My grandson was a recipient of Mr Hershey's Legacy. He was a student at Milton Hershey School graduating in June of, 2000. He enjoyed his many years there and we as a family enjoyed going there for the many events that they had. My favorite time was always, Mothers Day Weekend. The shows the children put on were outstanding. My grandson was always a participant each year. We often talk about his time there and he loves reminding me that he is a "MILT" for life. Sending him to Milton Hershey was the best thing that happened to him and the memories will be ours forever.❤😊 ❤

Thank you so much for sharing your story, and that of your son, with us. We appreciate that. Sounds like you both have some fond memories, and benefitted greatly, from Mr. Hershey's generosity.

It was a long ride. But very interesting. I like the story of people and milk being hauled together. He was a very smart man. And I like the story of his wife's passing. Seems he loved her so much. Never knew there was a cemetery built behind there. Would love a chocolate facial! 🍫 Thanks for the trip ❤

Awesome tour. Very educational. My mother’s 2 brothers went to Milton Hershey School. Great school. We would visit them often from Ligonier, Pennsylvania. God Bless

Great tour. I've seen a documentary on the History Channel about Milton's chocolate origins but they didn't delve into the education system he was a big part of.

Yes, we thoroughly enjoyed the tour, and learning about the history of the area and the man who made it famous. They had some really good ideas for us to do videos about.

My 4th grade teacher taught us fractions by giving us all a Hershey bar so we could divide them into the smaller rectanges and put them into simple fractions. Then we got to eat them. Unfortunately some parents disapproved because math was right before lunch. 😁

Now, that's the way I would love to have learned when I was in school.
