Beautiful trolleys and street cars. I was in Boston some years ago, I saw there a beautiful street car. Is there in Pittsburgh any street car or trolley working in 2023 ? Greetings from Colombia.

Sadly I missed the PCC era in Pittsburgh, but I am loving the slide show, and how colorful all of the PGH Trolleys were, I honestly thing the only thing that has really come close is the Pride Light Rail car, to what they were doing back then. I did see a tone of Green cars on the Boston T. Jersey didnt have anything when I was growing up

44:25 - Note also the WIIC (Channel 11) billboard overhead. They changed to WPXI sometime in the mid-1970s (Pittsburgh's XI - eleven). I thought for a second the lower billboard was for a radio station, but WPNB was just the abbreviation for Western Pennsylvania National Bank. Regarding WPNT, it was easy listening "orchestral" music (doctor's office music).

@1:20:55 One of my favorite of the PCC liveries! If the museum ever manages to get a hold of another 1700 series PCC, they should give it that livery, right down to the PaTransit logo! By the time I moved to Pittsburgh, they were down to just the uniformly painted 4000 series cars, really disappointing! @1:55:22 My parents got a 97 Aerostar and 95 Ranger at that dealer!

I believe Rege Cordic was on KDKA radio first. If you have heard of "Old Frothingslosh Beer", that was one of his running bits. The "Channel 4 Sunday Afternoon Movie with Rege Cordic" aired at 1pm Sunday after Paul Shannon's "Adventure Time". Both were Sunday-after-church fixtures on my grandparents' TV! On at least a couple of occasions, Rege ran a railroad-themed movie ("It Happened to Jane" and "Fool's Parade" come to mind). Some of his family worked for the B&O at Glenwood. Rege Cordic was a long-time railfan and I would not be surprised that he was part of the trolley museum.

Frank Fontaine was on the Jackie Gleason Show {American Scene Magazine} in the "Joe the Bartender" skit. I remember it well. Fontaine played the part of Crazy Guggeheim. Jackie Gleason bellowing the ending to "My Gal Sal" at the end of these skits, with the bar doors closing on him and the orchestra's closing fanfare, was always great. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYXQap6oeayMnrc

""system's" is not how you spell "systems". "company's" Is not how you spell "companies". "stripping" isn't how you spell "striping". "its" is possessive: it should have been "it's". How could you misspell "Buhl" when you had the photo for a reference? The Steelers have won six Super Bowls. There are many errors in the captions. The proofreader apparently had a day off. Otherwise, it was a good presentation.
