Actually, I never thought about Steve being the final hero. I was thinking that when Toby dies, there is an statue of him in the center of Arcadia as a hero. Also, with the time skip with all people grown up and blinky closing the book. Because the original ending literally doesn't close the story. Actually, there can be another story of trollhunters.

You can say that again. But until or if they decide to continue the story, we're kind of stuck with the movie we already got. I'm happy if people still like the movie, I like it to a degree as well, but I still see it's ending as a dumpster fire. So I'm at least glad I got this out.

This is an incredible story I also did have a rewritten idea where Jim does get the ambulet before the climax he gets it in the middle and I did kinda wanna make some design changes like making the newer armor look like a remake of the original one he used and the Excalibur will be colored and more of a remake of his original sword when he uses it just like how it did with the green knight it was green until he lost possession of it

Obviously a lot of people hated the movie but I haven’t seen anyone actively rewrite the movie to this extent or really any extent. The movie absolutely does not compare. I’m sorry to the people who worked on the movie, but this rewrite is superior in every way.

Agreed. I was actually surprised not to find any rewrites on this movie. Most KZbinrs announced their own sequel series, but so far, none of those have panned out so far. So I figured it was time to tell my version of the story. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. 😁

oh my god, this story is epic.... especially the plot twist where Drall came out of nowhere, "its time to everyone must answer to trollhunters call" This is Wild... I just remeber the Avengers:endgame finale Thank you man.. I really needed this, A Great and fruitfull end and it make Justice to the greates Triology. Its really bring down my ashes got Orignial ROTT ending. Again Thanks for this Edition.

Oh trust me I have some friends that are gonna have to see this. I’ve been with Tales of Arcadia since Trollhunters first released and I’ve loved it even throughout every season that came out. While I may not be in as in love with 3Below it was still pretty good, it just didn’t have the same impact on me. And Wizards… well for only being a lost potential of rushed ten episodes it was kinda mid in my opinion. And as much as I hate to admit it, the problems first stemmed from 3Below with it only being 2 parts, cause it really deserved a third season to be more fleshed out, same story with Wizards being only ten episodes. And I don’t blame the creative team for how it turned out. Most of it was during the pandemic and Netflix’s partnership with Dreamworks was ending soon, but somehow this lead to the movie being as bad as it is, because they were getting beaten over their heads for how unpopular this series is despite all their efforts they just wanted this movie to be DONE and thrown out the window without thinking of quality first. Sorry about the rant😅. Your rewrite is the best I’ve ever heard, and I’m sharing this all my friends who are disappointed fans as well. K.I.C.

Trollhunters - 9/10 (the BEST Dreamworks show ever in my opinion) 3Below - 7.5/10 (amazing characters, ideas, and storylines that deserved a more fleshed out story) Wizards - 5/10 (…10 rushed episodes… not bad but Douxie carries most of it) Trollhunters: ROTT - 4/10 (insert Alec Benjamin’s “Let Me Down Slowly”) Your Rewritten Edition - 9/10 (yeah I’m serious)

Man, i feel sorry for Steve. Although he was a bully in the start, he developed so much. And him sacrificing his life was the most emotional part ever. And the others grew up so much. I even feel like im on your story, i have a wide imagination, and that's why 😅

Happy to hear it. 😁 In truth, I expected Steve to be the hero before the movie came out but was disappointed by how the original movie turned out. I definitely wanted to change the whole pregnancy story arc and make it more serious while also using it to push Steve's character arc forward. While I admit, his character arc was probably the shortest in this story, I think I made it work the best. I even wanted to emphasize more on him being a true knight.

Yep. It just felt like the right kind of final battle since the structure of the Tales of Arcadia trilogy is similar to the MCU. And, after watching the original movie and being introduced to the concept of the Time Stone, it just felt better utilized to bring back dead characters temporarily than go back in time and reboot the series.

And it actually works, because that’s what Tales of Arcadia has always been, taking inspiration from stories that we’ve heard or seen before. Jim’s story being the chosen one against balancing two lives at once. Aja and Krel’s story of running from responsibility and finding a new purpose as aliens… sorry Akiridions in a new world. And Douxie’s story of living up to his master/mentor’s expectations while keeping everyone alive, are stories we’ve most likely heard before. But they aren’t blatantly copying them but rather take them as inspiration and make it their own. And just seeing how you took inspiration from one of (if not) the greatest final battle in all of cinema is exactly what Tales of Arcadia stands for in my eyes.

@sethledesma8106 The way I had it go in this rewrite was that Jim was the ninth configuration for the sword to be released. But I wanted the mystery of who was worthy to be figured out by Jim at that very moment. That's why I didn't make Steve a tenth configuration. I admit, I could've built it up better, but I went with what felt like it could work at the time. Hehe. 😁
