Never used a planer, have you or can you give a quick introduction/instruction vlog on using one as wouldn't mind getting one for this season. Boat looks cool btw.

@@castnorthangling5964 Cheers mate, I thought that's what they were. I would love to get some of the SG inline trolling rods. Any idea where would be the best place in Northern Ireland or online to get them? Thanks

has the new boat fully met your expectations? Have you noted any shortfalls to date.

Not yet Andrew, its a dream. Only downfall is the fuel consumption compared to the last boat but that's to be expected

Great video Simon How do you find the 100hp for slow trolling? I have a suzuki 50hp on a Seahog Alaska 500xl (similar to a warrior 165) and the slowest I can get down to is 4.1 kmph. Thinking about getting a drogue to throw out the back.
@castnorthangling59642 жыл бұрын
I have been use a trolling sock and it's been taking me down to 1.6-1.8mph and has been working perfectly. I have a min kota on the way but just using this in the mean time

@@castnorthangling5964 cheers. I was thinking of a drogue or a trolling sock alright. Or just a cheap option, a bucket
