Trolling for Rainbow Trout on Lower Arrow Lake BC using Lyman Lures right on the surface at 2.5 to 3.5 mph and 175 to 250 feet behind the boat.

Nice catch Chris, brings back many memories of fishing there in the 80's 90's and 2000's we used a 4 in Luhr Jensen dodger and a small 2 1/2 inch red or silver Apex hot shot (hockey stick) right on the surface , worked really well on Upper and Lower Arrow and Kootenay lake.

I can't wait to try flies, spoons, micro hoochies, hockey sticks, and a few other presentations. Wish we could fish two lines each when not fishing alone. Would love to be able to run 4 lines with a buddy.

Lived in castlgar for a number of year, biggest rainbow I caught, 12lbs, biggest Dolly 14lbs. Had to move away for work, miss the place.
