Wow! This 63 year old grandmother loved this video. Thanks for sharing. 😊 Waiting for a video from when you surfed Honoloa Bay on Maui a few days ago. I was there and my husband surfed next to you. You were cutting up the waves! Amazing young man you are. 💙

That was great! I'm familiar with the Golden Gate. I flew down to Frisco in 2010 to see a concert. My windsurfing friends met me at the venue. The next day they took me to Crissy Field, and we walked to Fort Point. Since they windsurf the Golden Gate, they were able to give me the travelogue, as we were under the bridge watching the tide roll in. My point? I saw the hazards. First, the incoming tide was like the Mississippi River. Second, it's a big time shipping lane. And finally, if the wind quits, you're done! Congratulations on a great tow session!

One of the first times I windsurfed out in the channel, having learned from locals to watch the fog, bring a radio, etc., I was having a blast riding the huge swell. I came off a bottom turn into a jibe and the wind felt super light suddenly. The fog was still a ways out and the forecast was for solid gradients, but when I looked over my shoulder I saw this massive freighter and will always remember the word "Hyundai" staring me in the face. I pumped the sail like a mofo and got the heck outta the way!

JOB getting kite lessons from Kai could be a whole video series. Some of Jamie's filmers from a couple years ago were accomplished kiters (see the Sickos) and I think as he continues to gracefully age, kiting is the way to go for him. Getting tips from Kai would be awesome.

@benharper355511 ай бұрын
Depends on how much wind and size of the kite I’ll have a guess 5 Foilers could be towed by one kite maybe 6 if Kia Lenny is the kite surfer towing the Foilers 🤙🏽
