No SAED is only affected by skills like artillery. Charging the sword gives you an extra phial attack and minds eye(your weapon will not bounce) on your sword only.

It does full charge the philes though. So you can charge shield or SAED off it. Good stuff!

Its a move called saed (Super amped elemental discharge) make sure you have you shield charged while in axe mode then press x+a

*Because this is most likely the current endgame.* If you compare MHFU to MHRise with their gameplay you would see the *GREAT* difference that your character has more attacks and mobility to their disposal in Rise compared to MHFU. There are hunts in MHFU that could reach similar times in recent MH games with the help of *Felyne Heroics* and *Adrenaline* that would greatly boost the player's attack, and with the right build and skill you can finish hunts within 10 minutes or less. Also consider the fact that you could probably finish hunts really quick in MHFU as well if you've got endgame gear.
