@@mentlegen3887 it's a lot of fun getting parries with it, but charging sidestep seems better dps wise I think. Being able to skip the 0.7 modifier on level one charge is too good to give up for me.

I started to main bow (coming from CB) at the end of iceborne. So happy with the state of the bow in rise. After adjusting a bit it feels super natural for me and is hella strong. Though it looks like all weapons are super capable in rise, I love the balancing they did so far!

I’ve had a build like this one time in 4 ultimate. It’s scattershot with pellet up. Increasing spread type shots. It’s basically like a shotgun. Which is why he’s always up close. You can’t be too close or too far. Gotta be at the critical distance. It’s hella powerful.

its a switch skill, which you have to unlock. its replacing the jump backwards. i think you have to craft different bows to unlock it, but google it to be safe

For single-player speed running, is it better to have 1 palico and 1 palamute, or 2 palamutes? I noticed in the last couple videos that you guys seem to be running one of each helper, and I was curious if that was intentional or not. I know palamutes can attack alongside the player, but I don’t know much about how the damage or buffs from a palico’s abilities compare to the damage of a palamute

I couldn’t get into bow. There’s no build up to a climatic combat finisher like CB or SA. It’s just spam shoot until u run out of stamina. Am I missing something?

As a bow main, I understand. The bow playstyle tends to favor functionality over flashiness. The fun from playing bow, I think, comes from managing your stamina and finding the right positioning from which to shoot. It may not look it, but using the bow requires discipline and control to use properly, sort of like using a bow and arrow in real life, albeit to a much more exaggerated degree.

Bow was always the best in generations because of how stats are distributed in the game I think. Sense this game is heavily influenced from the generations and double cross stats naturally the bow would be meta like it was for thosr games

The air attack is the aerial aim switch skill, you get it for doing one of the Utsushi side quests. And the attack while evading is dodge bolt, another switch skill.
