I am used to 2T bikes (KTM 125, KTM 300 and Rieju MR300). Finally, my garage will be the Stark and the Rieju 300. Best of both worlds for enduro. Rieju for power, handling, sound and range, Stark for short burst of adrenaline (1 hour of super power) near home without being disturbed.

Thanks for the vid. very fluid delivery of words, sound, and visuals. as regards the stark varg, I think once they get battery life up to 60 mins in the hands of an AMA/FIM pro level rider, the bike will really take off on the MX/SX circuit. It will prolly never be long lived enough for everyone, but that and the infrastructure to recharge at the tracks are the biggest issues I see. The performance angle is pretty much solved.

A battery that's about half the size of these would be unreal, but they are probably erring on tons of "range" for now, since the infrastructure isn't there. The E bike will give people a way to ride even in a small suburban property where they could never do that on a ICE bike (due to the noise.) And it starts with young children riding them - which they are doing. Local amateur races already have E Class Race Divisions (even for big bikes.) It won't be long until AMA has an entire Pro racing series for E bikes (because they will eventually destroy ICE bikes.)

so i drive 2 hours to the track, ride for 30 minutes run out of charge and then what?
@DaveEPie Жыл бұрын
Exactly- And completely forget about going out with the boys and doing a 65 mile loop in the desert / mountains. Most , like 75% of the guys never ride a track- they buy a bike to ride in the country- Explore the trails- Even beginnings are riding 25-30 miles in the morning, have lunch at the truck, and do another 25-30 miles.

Just as excited to see Spring Creek as the motorcycle! Range is always a battery concern and to be fait a moto is an energy draining event. Once they make the batteries less expensive and quick change through something like sodium ion which is plentiful or license the solid battery tech from Toyota etc.. that will improve. It makes me wonder if this thing could trail ride or do a National Enduro…?

Man it would take me some getting used to a brake where the clutch is supposed to be, I see myself coming out of corner and slamming on the brakes as so used to clutching out of corners for power or shifting can you say endo good I knew you could... I still want to ride one but still want to have a clutch and gears just my preference. here's hoping for a great future
@codyhader3295 Жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same. It would take a while to really break all the old habits from a normal setup. I can kinda see the advantage of having the rear brake on the bars once you're used to it though, particularly for right hand corners, but I'd definitely hit the deck a few times first 😂 Good news is, you won't stall it when you inevitably get confused.

Do they have a mode lock feature that prevents the rider from cheating mid race and bumping up the HP?
@TrollTraining Жыл бұрын
That’s the crazy thing about this bike. I could go through tight technical sections in 40hp then bump it up to 80hp on the hills or deep loamy areas. Pretty wild to have that ability at any point during the lap.
