Trolltunga Via Ferrata; Odda, Norway

Starting from Trolltunga parking lot (P2), we biked along side of Ringedalsvatnet (Ringedals Lake) for about 50 minutes. Then after about 30-40 minutes hike we arived at the start point of the via ferrata cable. Climbing itself took about 1:15 to 1:30 hours. We had to skip visiting trolltunga itself since we had a long drive back home. So, after getting to the top of the via ferrata, we took the path towards the parking lot. The whole trip took about 6:30 hours.

Depending on one’s experience it cabe easy or difficult. It is definitely easier than Loen Via Ferrata.

If one has previous climbing or via ferrata experience it is fine to climb it without a giude.

Hello, thanks! We had the via ferrata equipment, but we rented the bikes at Trolltunga's visitor center. There, you can also rent the via ferrata equipment.
