The Vbar governor works great, never had a problem. The Hobbywing 180 V5 is Vbar ready do just tell the NEO Vbar governor then go into the ESC and tel it Vbar governor and set the gear ratio. Then you just put your head speed you want. Watch my ILgoblin Pro setup video and I go over the steps on the 260 but the 180 is the same.

Awesome! First build comes out Monday on the Orion. I love my piuma, I spent months getting it to fly the way that it is right now ton of tuning and micro little things to get the wobbles as low as I could. The Dnamic is everything the puma is and better. Over 1 pound lighter no wobbles even at 900 RPM. The tail Authority is incredible at all RPMs, which is extremely difficult to do especially at the lower RPM range.

What would the pros and cons be getting a 6-8s vs 12s kit be?
@Lance57H7 ай бұрын
Less weight Cheaper batteries Easier to manage and charge batteries
@westhobbiesrc80517 ай бұрын
Your main difference would be weight. And simplicity of a single pack versus two packs or a stick pack. Now, with 6s your amperage drawl is going to be higher because you have less volts. That is the one plus side to a 12s set up. Double your voltage your amperage drops significantly. But you pick up weight so it really depends on your flying style and what you are looking to do.
@yenny5276 ай бұрын
An advantage of 12s is if you ever decide to get a different 700 size heli that’s not lightweight like the Tron Advance or Raw 700, you’ll be able to reuse a lot of the electronics
@kwaad27 ай бұрын
Hi, what radio/flybarless setup are you running to get the telemetry, and it seemed like you were able to tweak it directly from the controller. Do you have a video of how this system works? I'm new to RC Heli's, and I like seamless integration which is what it looks like you have here! Beautiful flight!
@westhobbiesrc80517 ай бұрын
In this video spektrum NX8, ikon 2 FBL with a Hobbywing ESC and SRXL2 RX. With that set up, you have essentially forward programming. You can go in and make adjustments to the FBL unit right from your transmitter. You get full telemetry as wel. Yes, I have multiple videos on this. If you want an even better system, that’s way nicer for this look into the Vbar. You do everything from your transmitter no laptop, necessary.

Jeff do you know why tron puts the thrust bearings in between the ball bearings?
@westhobbiesrc80517 ай бұрын
So that is something companies have done over the years on and off. From what I was told is it gives it a better load on the blade grip itself as the main load is on the external bearing. How true that is I don’t know!

This is one incredible flying Heli. I've seen where you have to make adjustments here and there on other heli's, especially the Goosky RS7 I know you're still trying to get dialed in. This is the most stable Heli I think I've seen to date, and without doing anything. What FBL did you use?
