I didn't always have a Cintique, I used to use a 4x5 non wacom tablet. I'd recommend cheaper tablet for starters, work your way up to a Cintique.

Don't worry the tron guy in real life aside for some economic woes(the consulting firm he work for went under) is a pretty fulfilled guy, I've bumped into him at the local airport a few years back and he seemed to have a great time volunteering helping all the local pilots out, Though I'm not sure if he still has his sweet plane I guessing by now he's back in the industry.

I've always loved your animation. It's like a cross between Paul Rudish (Samurai Jack, Sym-Bionic Titan) and Scotty Young (Marvel comic artist). Do you hand-draw it on paper and then scan it in, or what's your technique?
