It certainly is great. But, I don't think it's Daft Punk. It might be an A.I.-rendered mash-up of the original movie soundtrack with the music of Daft Punk. And, that might explain why it was not nominated!

Honestly, to me this whole movie was a masterpiece. Not only did it involve the technology of the first in an incredible way, but it also showed the dynamic between father and son, between Quora and her world, it shows how freedom can be different to different people, it shows how life can change a person and how different experiences can make a person change. So much went into this movie and to me nothing will ever compare.

And *because* of those big names, they their identity is absent for the majority of the runtime except maybe in the "Home, hold on" bit from "Touch." Do you think Kojima hunts down hollywood actors for their proven record in videogame acting? I was 9 years old when I saw this movie. My mom would take us to the cinemas every once in a while and I believe they were watching The Princess and The Frog and I had wanted to see Tron Legacy so she let me. Now I hadn't seen the first tron, so this was my first experience with the series and it was awesome. I sat i nthe front row cause younger me thought that front row seats were better. This movie changed me for a lot. I started to love sci-fi more often and it had a huge impact on my creativity. I started working on my own short stories and started expressing my creativity more often. Theres a scene in my story that I've been working on since I was 8 years old that pays homage to the movie in which my main character ends up driving on a motorcycle across the city similar to how Sam does in order to get back home. I walked out of that cinema and into the one my mom and sibling were in and waited. It was everything I wanted and more and I told her about how much I loved it. See it was advertised all over the place on Disney Channel and Disney XD so go figure I wanted to see it.

This movie was also the introduction I had to Daft Punk. I never knew if they made the soundtrack at the time until my dad pointed it out and after we watched it at home and he pointed out to me The two DJs at the End of Line club. I will never forget this movie and it's still my favorite to this day. And it always will be my favorite. This movie has brought me a lot of joy as a kid and in fact, it's my comfort movie. I still hope it's happening Edit: Came back to listen again and remembered that TRON 3 IS COMING!!!! Disney, for the love of Flynn... Don't screw this up! We've been waiting 14-15 years for this!! I remember my dad got me into Tron (both movies) and I don't regret watching them. I always enjoyed the idea of there being some kind of computer reality and the Tron series did such a great job showing it. In the end I only wished it got more than it did, but I think overall it had a good run and hopefully it could potentially get picked back up again. If not tho atleast we had a pretty solid ending in Tron Legacy, and an absolutely banger soundtrack--

Dam it’s crazy how old Tron legacy is right now . 2010 December . Man the whole movie with its outstanding world and cast made it perfect. The music makes feels like your part of the grid . A digital world , all I hope for is will there ever be another Tron after Tron 3 and Tron uprising were cancelled. I just hope that Disney thinks about it and give us what us Tron fans want another movie or show.

Did you ever watch the first installment of this franchise made in 1982? The special effects aren't nearly as good as this one was but it was still okay.
