Whoa didn't think people would watch this. Thanks to everyone and yes that's me singing lol. That's quite a compliment! I don't do much in the way of effects. I some reverb to my voice in an effort to make it sound more mixed when played on KZbin. That and when I render the final mix I use something called compression to equalize the levels. I actually sing kind of loud (sorry neighbors) so the compression helps make sure your ears don't hurt when you listen :)

Raymond Fee Yep. Jay Z covered it. It was originally done by Alpha-ville as I'm sure that's what you're trying to point out :). JayZ made it somewhat popular to the modern day people circa 2007/2008. Actually I loved the Alpha-ville version growing up, but JayZ reminded me of it and made me want to cover it. So that's why JayZ is listed there :)
