Troopers 2022 in the lot after DCI World Championships Finals Night

The one in the different uniform is their head drum major, and he is sadly leaving Troopers after this year. The others that are sitting down are the other age outs, enjoying one last performance from their corps, or in other words America's Corps perform for them. One. Final. Time.
Some interesting facts:
- The last time Troopers made finals was in 2009.
- In the 79 season Troopers edged out Crossmen with Ecstasy of Gold. The latest time that has happened was this year.
- Troopers were close to setting a new corps record for score, but missed by about 0.475 points. Their current corps record sits at 87.90 from the 1985 Semifinals
- The previous fact is now incorrect, as they beat their corps record this year. Their current corps record sits at 89.475 from the 2023 Finals

I marched in corp 50 years ago. I went to the movie theater to watch Big, Loud, & Live. I knew as you all were performing that this was THE corp that was back.. Before the scores came up I knew you guys mad it to finals. I still get chills watching it on you tube. You made an old corp guy love corp again. I am very proud of what you guys accomplished.

I remember hearing this ring through the air as I was walking back to the bus to change out of my uniform and grab my suitcase. It was absolutely gorgeous. Very well done to all at Troopers this year! You guys had all of our hearts the entire summer!

The horn line, sounds fantastic, great job. But I miss when you guys were a real drum and bugle Corps. Unfortunately DCI in my opinion, has turned the activity into a marching band competition, superimposed on a three-ring circus. Real, drum and bugle c o r p s, no longer exist. May they all rest in peace. Today is October 26th 2022.
