Even just rehearsing they are smart and well disciplined, We are and always will be proud of our boys no matter what regiment they are from or which branch of service they serve in.

The Coldstream Drum Major needs to learn how to march properly. Arm is supposed to swing from front to rear and not front to seam of tweeds. All the other Drum Majors are very smart.

Interesting at 3.40 onwards as DM appears to ask the Big Drummer from the band ahead of him to signal the end of the Tune?
@SarahJonestoo5 жыл бұрын
@@philmstu I thought that I heard a rather misplaced signal from the drummer of the band and perhaps as the signal was missed /in the wrong place I thought that he might have asked for a new signal from the easiest source. Who knows? Anyway I guess that is partly what rehearsals are for.

Why does the Irish Guards Dir. of Music not swing both arms when marching?
@Ting2315 жыл бұрын
I believe he has a conductor's baton in his left hand.
@9826945 жыл бұрын
@@Ting231 Probably does, but the custom in the Foot Guards has always been to swing both arms regardless, as does the Dir. of Music (Scots? ) in the contingent ahead of the Irish Guards Band.
