Firstly, David you are a great weather forecaster. Watched you for a long time so I can say you are one of the more accurate ones. However as a Houstonian, I have learned to never trust the NHC or NWS. After Beryl, the NHC should be ashamed of themselves. I honestly believe these models need some reprogramming.

I understand I’m not trying to get all butt hurt about hurtful negative comments but all I ask in general is for the community to have full respect because I’ll tell you there’s worse weather KZbin channels out there that have much worse Clickbait than mine. Hurricane Beryl hit and caused so much catrastrophic damage in early July!! I can't believe that people don't think this won't be a hyperactive season or at least an above average season. It's almost as if they WANT hurricanes to hit. It seems like it's quality over quantity this season.

Don't listen to the hate comments David! You're doing your best. Many people didn't think Hurricane Beryl would be strong or cause damage to Texas and Louisiana because it was too early in the season and they thought that people were "lying" or "fear mongering" but just look at what happened! I think it's better safe than sorry.

Mr Bobby you’re absolutely correct, but I go deep sea fishing this time every year and we dock 30 nautical miles from international coastal waters off of Georgia. These last five or six years I’ve never seen the water so warm. Yesterday I recorded 86.3* degrees off of Georgia. The first time I’ve went deep sea fishing in 1998 the temperature of the water was 74.9* degrees. Also when I first started fishing, we used to catch “Prize Fishes like tilapia, king fish etc. Now we barely catch good fish, we normally catch barracudav

Don't let this guy scare you, hurricanes are nothing to be scared about as long as you're not stupid enough to live on a barrier island, trust me, i have been through 3 major ones and this guy goes a little overboard with fear, if you live on the mainland ,9 times out of 10 you should be fine as long as you do not go driving around in flood waters or gas yourself with your generator and stay off barrier Islands

I recall the local fire department knocking on my door saying please evacuate sir, there will be a 16ft surge over your head if you stay here, well not a drop of surge happened and this was 2 or the three major hurricane i went through, and my sister took his advice and was trapped 56 hours in the shelter after it passed with no toilets, the hallways in the school were filling up and nothing to eat accept boloney and white bread

@@raydemos1181 Here’s something you should understand, science is a long way from being able to predict exact trajectory of hurricanes. Meteorologist will be off by several hundred miles, so that’s why Emergency Management Agencies in local municipal governments don’t take any risks and just evacuate people. Hurricanes respond with current weather patterns, and weather patterns shift and sometimes meteorologists can’t predict that because we don’t have technology to measure patterns and make changes on a drop. I always tell people that forecasts is based on 4 hour increments, hurricanes can change their trajectory in a matter of two hours so you’re actually two hours behind when you’re forecast. Regardless, people shouldn’t listen to every “Joe” theory on social media because that’s how people loose their lives. They should listen to their local officials and NHC for details. Like I’ve said before, the main purpose for David is to give detailed synopsis of forecasting to help people better understand what’s happening

@@gregd4633 I trust my instincts and my experience dealing with these things for over 30 years more than local officials, I know what angle a storm has to come in to make the storm surge worse on the Caloosahatchee River in Sw Florida, They over forecast their surge predictions because i guess they just do not know what angle the storm will have on an area, I say the more west the storm comes from the higher the surge because that water push is more direct into the coast, the more north the storm goes the less push the water does on the coast, and i am talking about the west coast of florida, i wish someone would do a study of surge and angle and effect on the west coast of Florida, to me that would be important info people should know

People have families that live in the Caribbean, millions of Americans have families that live in the Caribbean. I have family that lives in Grenada and The Grenadines itself, so forecasters covering the Caribbean is very important for us who live far away from our families. Especially since I live in Atlanta. But here’s a closing remark, there’s plenty of languages used in the Caribbean not just Latin. Some parts of the Caribbean speak influent French/Creole and Portuguese languages. Others speak Latin while others speak Spanish, while others speak influent English. But that’s the beauty of the Caribbean, a mixture of cultural and linguistic diversity. That’s why it’s important for people to take geographical studies seriously, it starts with primary school because once students accustomed with cultural diversity once they step foot on college campuses they’re less likely to go into shock
